About the Event
Startup Conversations in the Couve is North Bank's monthly speaker series. Real founders, real stories, no fluff. Susan Bladeholm of Frog Ferry speaks in July Susan Bladholm is the founder and president of Friends of Frog Ferry, a nonprofit working to bring an all-electric passenger ferry service to the Willamette and Columbia rivers, connecting Oregon City to Vancouver, Washington. A longtime marketing director at the Port of Portland and Business Oregon, she's spent the past eight years building the case for river-based transit, securing dock access from the City of Portland, and pursuing tens of millions in public and private funding to get a boat in the water. Wweek Bladholm brings deep ties across the region's transportation, business, and civic sectors, and a track record of moving a hard infrastructure idea from concept to funded pilot. She'll join us July 21st to talk about building something ambitious in public, the long game of regional funding, and what it takes to keep a big idea alive through political and economic headwinds. About North Bank Innovations North Bank Innovations is a Southwest Washington-based organization dedicated to building a thriving ecosystem for early-stage startups.
