About the Talks

Talk 1: Conquering openDesk.eu with kro.run & ocm.software for european digital sovereignty

openDesk is the German government's sovereign digital workplace. This talk shows how Open Component Model and kro.run together enables openDesk to be deployed into k8s environments, especially for air gapped ones. OCM handles the supply chain - versioned, signed, OCI-based component bundles you can relocate to any air-gapped registry. kro.run handles orchestration - a ResourceGraphDefinition that transforms openDesks existing push based deployment mechanism into an explicit, enforced, observable dependency graph. The result: one k8s custom resource OpenDeskInstance bootstraps the entire sovereign digital workplace, with provenance, SBOM, and drift detection included. European digital sovereignty is not a procurement decision - it's an architecture decision. Come see what the stack looks like.

Talk 2: agentgateway: One Gateway for Services, LLMs and MCP

AI agents communicate with LLM providers, MCP servers, APIs, tools and other agents. This introduces new challenges around routing, security, observability and governance. But we wouldn't live in a cloud native if there wouldn't be already a solution.

agentgateway. An open-source gateway for traditional service traffic and AI-native protocols such as LLM APIs, MCP and agent-to-agent communication. So let us look at use cases, where it fits into an AI platform architecture and run a small demo to see agentgateway in action.
