Show you the exact process and tools he uses to lead a team of non-engineers to deliver bespoke software to 20+ SMEs at Hasky Technologies

Give you real business cases to work on, and

Personally review and give feedback on what and how you build.

Why we are training forward-deployed builders

SMEs, agencies and enterprises are asking us for people who understand how their businesses work and can use AI to build working software. Strong candidates are still difficult to find because this kind of role is still new

The market increasingly calls them forward-deployed engineers or product designers. They work close to the company and the real problem, combining domain expertise with AI coding agents to decide what should be built, then scope, build, test and ship it

SMEs are where this capability can create value fastest. Decisions sit closer to the work, with less legacy and cross-department change management, giving builders more room to reshape data, workflows and management together

What you will do

You will watch John break down a real business problem, receive a genuine business case, scope the first useful version, direct AI coding agents to build it, and present your work for direct feedback on what holds up, what is off and what you would need to correct before shipping

You do not need a conventional software-engineering background. The programme is designed for operators, consultants, product managers, business analysts, designers and freelancers who already understand real business problems and want to turn that knowledge into useful software

The first full day is Monday, 10 August 2026, from 9am to 6pm at SQ Collective. This is a two-day programme; the second full-day date will be announced before places are offered
